Slow Living with Stephanie O'Dea

A Purpose Driven Mom Podcast

Episode 173

What dreams are tickling you and you think about all the time? What are the things that come up often in your thoughts as you drift off to sleep? Like a, “I’m going to do that “ONE DAY!””

What are those things that you really want? And how can you make them happen in your life?

Do you have time or a quiet moment to dream your dreams? Or plan your goals? How can you find your dreams and alignment with all the “must-do’s” of the day? From dirty dishes to bathtime, to laundry to cooking supper. There isn’t a moment to slow down.

Dreams of:
➡️ Getting healthy
➡️ Reading one book a month
➡️ Connecting with a friend once a week
➡️ Decluttering your whole house
➡️ Never being late to an appt again

This isn’t about being discontent with your current life, but thinking about how you can amplify what’s already going on —- which you need to slow things down a bit, filter out the noise so you can sort through the things that are serving you, and pick out the things that are not.

You are really going to enjoy hearing from our guest today with slow living expert Stephniane O’Dea as she talks about — what that actually means for us busy moms to slow down and be more present in the season of life that you are in.

I know that you are busy and you have a lot going on, but I want to encourage you to take the time and think about the things that you truly want.

About Stephanie:

I know what it feels like to want to live a calm, peaceful, and harmonious life but you feel like you can’t because there is simply too much to do. I believe that if we are lucky, life is long. You are not behind, and you don’t need to rush around, trying to catch up. My philosophy isn’t about cramming more and more into an already over-packed schedule.
