Getting Organized with College Planning with Cara Kalf

A Purpose Driven Mom Podcast

Episode 181

Get your kids ready for college by using Trello?! Kinda like all the goal setting and the backward planning that we teach here at A Purpose Driven Mom.

➡️ Listen in to this episode if you have middler school-aged kids or older, as our guest Cara breaks down this hard, large project.

Getting our bigger kids ready for the future is something that we really want to be educated on and want to support those kiddos as best we can. Without stepping on their independent toes and projecting our feeling of what they “should” be, onto them.

So how do we do that?! Of the thousands of schools out there and the different processes for each, how do we set our bigger kids up for success?! Listen in to this conversation to get the wheels of inspiration spinning and let’s take the time to get organized by using one of our favorite tools around here … Trello!

About Cara:

Since 2013, I have worked as a college essay tutor with more than 130 students across the country and most of them candidates for the country’s top schools. They were counting on their essays to distinguish their already-excellent applications, and many of them ended up at their first-choice schools, including high-profile schools. But just as important, they left our work with a set of essential skills and a new—or renewed—love for writing.
